Each week you can click on the photo above and it’ll take you to the Ministry-to-Children YouTube page where you can view their weekly Children’s Sermon Lesson  and Craft Idea Videos that go along with the scripture of that particular week. It is usually the first two videos on the page (as highlighted in the photo above—

     Confirmation traditionally takes place in 8th grade. This is after 2 years of instruction with the Pastor on Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Online class info is below.

      FIRST COMMUNION - 5th Graders

      First communion at Messiah traditionally takes place when a child is in 5th grade. After 3 classes with the pastor we hold first communion on Maundy Thursday.

      Children younger than 5th grade cross their arms over their chest and receive a blessing at the altar from the pastor.

      CONFIRMATION - 8th Graders

      Confirmation traditionally takes place in 8th grade. This is after 2 years of instruction with the Pastor on Martin Luther's Small Catechism.
